Random acts of happiness

So I am sure it is not  a surprise to tell you that I am struggling with happiness. I don't know why, I just know that my heart is heavy. So this week I decided that helping others was on my to do list.

These are my random (and some not so random) acts of Happiness this week!

1. I let the kids ride their bikes and play outside....even though I would have rather stayed inside and moped on the couch.
2. I helped a friend by sewing the patches on his scout shirt and hemming his scout pants (of course I need to let them out a bit because I made them too short...NOT THE POINT)
3. I checked on a friend. Found out she needed help and then went to her house to help her.
4. I tried to find the good in every day this week.
     ~The sun shone
     ~ We were able to buy a few groceries
     ~ I finished some sewing projects I have put off for way too long
     ~ I started some new projects that will probably be put off....(he he.)
     ~ I am currently helping a friend overcome some obstacles in her life.
    
5. I bought the fish some food. They were hungry
6. I tried to find joy in the journey.
7. I visited with a dear friend.
8. I went on a long bike ride, on which I got wet because of the rain
9. I said goodbye to a friend, but took pictures with her to remember the moments we had together
10. I listened to uplifting music all week.

Today I realize how many good things I have done this week and I wonder if there is another good wave of happiness coming....I sure hope so, I am tired of looking up and seeing Rain clouds.

 I really need to be better about posting on this blog! I have been missing in action for way too long. So what has been up with me lately? Well, I have been working, being a PTA president, Being a mom, A friend, and a Wife.

Sound busy?? Yeah, well of course it does!

This week, I am Happy to report that I have accomplished a lot of things! It is spring break where we are and we are just really enjoying it. I have had time off work, the kids have time off school and we have NOT been bored. The kids have had so much fun this week and I am quite enjoying getting some projects done.

We have gone on a bike ride, Played at the park, spent time outside in the beautiful spring weather we have been having. I am so thankful for the weather and the fun times.

It makes life happy.
